Our Commitment to Safety
Why Safety First Is Second Nature
We put safety first to protect our workers on the job, our clients and those who would be impacted by an oil or natural gas accident. At FabServe, that means safety procedures, training, and accident response skills never stop.
Each year, our team attends safety workshops. We provide training opportunities for first aid and CPR. We also educate our team on identifying hazards and safe driving. Reflection is an essential part of our safety process, which is why we use both a behavior-based safety program and a job safety analysis program.
Before any worker steps onto a job site, he or she has been trained and qualified for the task ahead. If we don’t have a qualification or safety certification that you require, we send our team members back for more training to satisfy the requirements of the job.
Surpassing the Highest Standards
Our standard practice is to follow the guidelines and training offered by several safety organizations and programs, including:
- Veriforce Integrated Compliance Solutions
- Operator Qualification Solutions Group (OQSG)
- PEC Safety
- Industrial Safety Training Council (ISTC)
- Texas 811
Our subscription to the guidelines of these organizations ensures that we are up to date on safety trends. Our teams are prepared to both prevent accidents by using correct processes and respond responsibly should any safety issues arise on the job.
Things We Do Daily
As you know, every day and every job is different, and so is every job, particularly when they involve new challenges, like the ones we frequently handle. Because we learn from every situation, we make it a practice to review what we’re doing right and what we can do better.
Each day, we hold safety meetings. A daily commitment to seeing what we could do better and looking at the road ahead improves our practices. Using risk management programs helps us analyze potential issues and pivot before they become problems. In these ways, we underscore our dedication to continuous, demonstrable improvement.
